An end of year message from our Managing Director, Nick Stansfield, to our customers – Friday 18th December 2020:

Dear customer,

I hope this finds you well and in good spirits as we approach the end of what has been a controversial and unpredictable year.

In a normal year, we’d usually have most of the team based in the office, some staff out meeting customers and prospects face to face, the events team exhibiting up and down the country, and all of us preparing to come together tonight for our annual Christmas party. This year has been anything but ordinary – it’s been about finding workarounds and new ways of achieving outcomes; a real lesson in lateral thinking and problem solving. And we’re not done yet!

You may have heard the unexpected announcement from Panasonic earlier this month regarding their change in strategic direction and plans for a gradual withdrawal from the telecommunications industry. They have disclosed this information to partners but are yet to make a statement publicly – in the meantime, we have summarised and provided an initial response to their communication which can be read here. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this announcement, please do not hesitate to get in contact with us.

I’ve sent a number of emails to you this year, all of which can be found on our website if you’d like to look back. We’ve had a great response regarding these messages, thanking us for keeping you up to date with our working processes and ways in which we can support you with yours. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing custom throughout this difficult year.

While we were technically equipped for working remotely, we had never implemented our strategy in its entirety before COVID-19 – I’m proud of my whole team for transitioning so smoothly and believe this has helped them help so many of you as you tweaked your set-up to facilitate the necessary changes to your ways of working. At the time of writing this, we have received exactly 1000 customer survey responses this year, averaging 96% satisfaction! We thank you for your positive feedback, and kind words in many instances, particularly in these challenging circumstances – your patience has been greatly appreciated.

Our Service Desk will be open as normal over the next few weeks with out of hours support available if required. Please make sure you tell us if you need changes to your telephones before the break – we’re receiving a high volume of requests so we recommend you give as much notice as possible!
