An update message from our Managing Director, Nick Stansfield, to our customers – Monday 3rd March 2021:
I hope you are keeping well and safe and that the government’s announcement last week brought you something to look forward to.
We’ve been considering the roadmap for Premier Choice Group in conjunction with the easing of national restrictions; we realise that this situation has impacted our staff in different ways and that our onward journey may see us embracing some of the changes we’ve made more long term, as well as reintroducing elements from our former structure. Our recent article explores our thoughts around if COVID-19 is here to stay and what businesses can do to co-exist alongside it. Please have a read and let us know your thoughts on the matter or if there’s any way we can further support you and your staff.
Thank you to those of you who supported our teams in their step challenge that ran last month. In case you missed it, two teams (Latitude with Attitude and the Fat Cats) went head to head to see who could take the most steps in 3 weeks. Congrats to the Fat Cats for sneaking away with the title after a massive team effort took them over 1million steps from just 8 players! Neil and I joined in, challenging both teams’ average step counts and we have extended the challenge for another week to give the staff a chance to catch us!
It’s all in good spirits but we’re also raising funds for a really worthwhile cause – Rocketfund’s #Kit4Kids Campaign. Ofcom estimates that 1.8 million children still don’t have access to online learning, due to a lack of access to digital devices or wifi. We want to help close the digital divide by raising money to support those schools in need. We will be donating all funds we have raised through our challenge to schools raising money for devices on Rocketfund. We’ve not quite hit our target of 20 laptops yet and there’s still time to sponsor the teams should you feel so inclined: you can sponsor Team PCG here.
