An update message from our Managing Director, Nick Stansfield, to our customers – Tuesday 8th June 2021:
I trust you are keeping well and enjoying the warmer weather and brighter evenings as we approach the longest day.
We’re almost half way through 2021 and creeping ever closer to the Covid restrictions easing a little more, even if the dates must change again! The next phase of BT exchange upgrades is also just around the corner and they have recently published more planned updates, meaning that BT exchanges housing over 5 million numbers will be affected within the next year. Feel free to search on our number checker to see when your exchange is scheduled for upgrade.
While the PSTN Switch Off is due to resolve in 2025, the Super-deduction Tax Relief only runs until March 2023. Announced in the Budget 2021, the government have introduced four capital allowance measures to promote economic growth and incentivise additional business investments or bring forward planned expenditure. It covers telephony hardware, amongst other things, so please do have a look as you may be able to save money on some of your upcoming purchases (telecoms or otherwise). Please note, this is open to businesses of all sizes, including SMEs, however, it does exclude partnerships, sole traders and other organisations not paying corporation tax. If you are looking to get ahead of the PSTN Switch Off and are eligible to take advantage of the Super-deduction, our Account Managers are available to review your requirements and design a solution to maximise your benefit in line with the available measures.
Additionally, should you wish to share this information with your network, we are still offering three months’ service charges for successful customer referrals – so if you know of anyone (in your industry or otherwise) who may need to upgrade before the Switch Off or could benefit from the Super-deduction, please do send us their details or make an introduction so we can improve their solution and apply the discount to your account.
As always, if you need support, please contact any member of the team on 020 8300 9495 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll happily help.
