A message in response to COVID-19 from our Managing Director, Nick Stansfield, to our customers – Tuesday 24th March 2020:

Dear customers,

I trust you are well and staying safe as we adapt to the changes Coronavirus is bringing.

At Premier Choice Group, we know our customers depend on our ability to provide reliable, uninterrupted service, so we wanted to share with you the measures we have taken to ensure service continuity in light of the recent developments surrounding Coronavirus.

As a country, we all need to do what we can to reduce the spread of the virus and the government has given clear guidance on self-isolation and strict social distancing. We have been identified as a critical sector in the COVID-19 response so it is important that we follow the government’s advice but maintain working at pace and conducting business as normally as possible. We have made significant investments in our business infrastructure over the last year to ensure we could operate all our systems and processes remotely without impacting service levels. We initially did this to enable a flexible working culture for our staff but we could never have predicted the how important or timely those changes could have been for us as a business.

We made the difficult but necessary decision to shut our offices from close of play Friday 20th March and have implemented our remote working model in full – I invite you to read about our set-up here. We’re still fully operational with all staff logged in to work as if they were at their desks – ultimately, we are in a state of ‘business as usual’. We are still here to help and will be able to provide you with seamless service, just without sharing the same space – if we hadn’t told you, you wouldn’t have known!

As it stands, we will still be sending Engineers to site where a physical presence is required but we have implemented a new contact process to validate all installations. We will take extra precautionary actions should we feel it is safe and necessary to proceed.

Our Service Desk Engineers are under immense pressure in responding to and resolving the increased volume of inbound enquires – we are working through these as quickly as possible on a first come, first served basis with best endeavours to prioritise urgent issues. The situation is unfolding daily and we will continue to monitor it with the safety and wellbeing of our customers and staff as our top priority. We are working closer than ever with our Technology and Network partners and we will keep you informed of information you may need to know and any further changes we make as a business. We are well prepared for the Coronavirus outbreak escalating and want to make sure you are too.
