A message in response to COVID-19 from our Managing Director, Nick Stansfield, to our customers – Tuesday 26th May 2020:
I hope you are reading this safe and well in spite of this situation we are still facing.
Another month has passed in these times of ongoing uncertainty and concern. I wanted to update you regarding our current stance and our evolving plans for life after lockdown:
- We are in the process of conducting risk assessments for reopening our workplace, ensuring the safety of the team; but as it stands, our offices will remain closed as we continue to deliver business as usual from the protection of our own homes for the most-part. Our Engineers are still providing essential maintenance and installations in the field with their processes under constant review – their willingness to continue and unwavering commitment to our customers has been truly inspiring.
- When we decide it is possible and necessary for our staff to return to the office, we will be taking all available precautions, including conducting body temperature screening on entry. Our thermal cameras are capable of detecting elevated body temperatures which may indicate the presence of a fever in an individual. This will help us to minimise contamination in the office and add another layer in our attempts to mitigate risks. You can read more about Thermal Cameras and other access control solutions in the Security and Surveillance section of our website. If this is something that you would find useful for the protection of your site and staff, please do call on 0800 048 4666 or email firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject Security and Surveillance and we will be able to provide advice and options if required.
- The future layout of the office is up for debate at the moment. We may move workstations, create shift patterns and apply restrictions around the number of staff permitted onsite; all of which enabling us to adhere to the social distancing measures and further protect the team. If you’re planning a workspace shuffle and need equipment moved or re-cabled, please let your Account Manager know (on 0800 048 4666 or by emailing email@example.com) and we can advise and arrange support where necessary.
We are still not clear on our route back to normality, or what our new normal will look like; one thing that remains certain is that, either in the office or working remotely, the safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers will remain our priority.
