Panasonic: Change Day, Lunch, Break and Night Time Settings

Video Transcript:

If you find that your system is stuck in Night Mode, find one of the large display phones, look at the buttons, and there should be a button labelled Time Mode or Time Service. If you find this button, you’ll also find that it’s lit red. Press the button until the red light goes out, and you’ll see “Day Mode” on the display.

If you can’t find this key, you can use a code to change your system back into Day mode. Go to the nearest large display phone and dial *7800. Press your speakerphone button (SP-PHONE) and you’ll see “Day Mode” show on the display. You can now hang up, and your system will be back in Day Mode receiving telephone calls.

Most of our Panasonic telephone systems are programmed to switch between Day and Night Mode automatically. However, if you need to finish early and you would like to force the telephone system into Night Mode, find the Time Mode key or Time Service key on the large display phone. Press this key until it turns red and “Night Mode” will show on the display. If you can’t find this key, you can dial a code. Dial *7801, and then press your speakerphone button (SP-PHONE). You can now hang up. Your system will be in Night Mode.

If you wish to put your system into Lunch Mode, go to your large display phone and look for your Time Mode key. Press this key until it turns green and “Lunch Mode” is displayed. If you can’t find the Time Mode key or Time Service key, you can dial a code. Dial *7802, and press your speakerphone button (SP-PHONE). You can then hang up and your system will be in Lunch Mode.

If you wish to put your system into Break Mode, find your Time Mode key or Time Service key on your large display phone and press this button until it flashes green, and “Break Mode” shows on your display. If you can’t find your Time Mode key, you can dial a code. Dial *7803, and press your speakerphone button (SP-PHONE). You can now hang up, and your system will be in Break Mode.
