iPECS UCE Android App: How to Access and Use the Directory

Video Transcript:

Welcome to the iPECS UCE mobile application video for Android. If you haven’t set up your application yet, please refer to the UCE installation video for Android devices.

When first entering your app, you will need to log in with your credentials. If you have already logged into the app today, you will not need to re-login. You can just open the application to take you straight through.

Along the top of the UCE app, there are tabs for different features of the application. You can scroll your finger to view and select the different features available.

To access your directory, select the contacts icon. Your contacts are split into three tabs organisation, shared, and private.

Organisation has a list of colleagues from within new organisation. This can be separated into sections, for example, different departments.

To view a contact, click on the relevant section.

Shared contacts will show your system directory. This is a full list of the contacts available to everyone using your UCE application.

Private is your own list of private contacts.

If you allow the UCE app to view your mobile contacts selected within your phone settings, you’ll be able to view all the contacts from within your own phone contact directory.

If you have any questions regarding your UCE application, please contact your telephony provider.
